Approved by the State Council, the 8th China Expo Forum for International Cooperation (CEFCO 2012) will be held from January 12th to 14th, 2012 at Haikou and Sanya in Hainan Province. CEFCO, co-organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO), has been successfully held for seven years in Beijing, Guangzhou,Shanghai and some other cities in China since 2005.Every year, CEFCO invites national leaders to deliver speeches, which plays a positive role in the communication and cooperation between Chinese and International MICE industry.
With the great support of National ministries and regional governments, the positive response of associations and enterprise of the exhibition industry, CEFCO always works towards its objectives: “Opening-up Co-operation Win-Win” and aims at building a platform for exchange and cooperation between Chinese and international exhibition and convention, then serve the purposes including economic cooperation, cultural exchange and communication. CEFCO has gradually grown up to a brand forum of MICE industry in China even in the world.
With "Change a Line, Change a Life" as the theme of CEFCO 2012, not only prospective issues will be focused to make the Convention and Exhibition industry from bigger to stronger, activities with tropical characteristics of Hainan will also be arranged for interaction. CEFCO2012 will mainly cover the following topics: how to enhance the core competitiveness of China's exhibition and convention industry, how to explore the potential of convention and exhibition industry in tourism destinations, the impact of new media and technology on future marketing strategies, a lucrative margin from the new mode of the combination of exhibition and conference, how Asian countries managed to survive in the world economic crisis, etc.. Alone with the conferences, Golf Party, Hand in hand cocktail party and other activities can increase more chance for intercommunion and cooperation.
CEFCO2012 is expected to attract over 600 insider elites and entrepreneurs on the basis of previous dimensions. They will gather in the tropical island of world-class resorts to discuss and put forward their view and advice for the industry.
